EMILY CADE DESIGN INC. IS A full-service DESIGN STUDIO OWNED BY PRINCIPAL DESIGNER, EMILY CADE. EMILY STARTED HER PROFESSIONAL CAREER IN FASHION, AFTER RECEIVING A DEGREE IN FASHION DESIGN. OVER THE NEXT TEN YEARS, SHE WORKED AS A FASHION STYLIST FOR FILM, MUSIC VIDEOS, AND PRINT,  LATER TRANSITIONING INTO SET DESIGN AND INTERIOR STYLING. HERE, HER TRUE PASSION FOR INTERIOR DESIGN WAS BORN. endlessly intrigued by all things design!

EMILY RETURNED to school TO STUDY INTERIOR DESIGN AT IAOD. SHE SPENT THE NEXT SEVERAL YEARS HONING HER DESIGN SKILLS WORKING IN MANY FACETS OF THE DESIGN INDUSTRY, INCLUDING WORKING FOR a BOUTIQUE DESIGN FIRM,  WITH BUILDERS AND DEVELOPERS ON LUXURY NEW BUILD HOMES, AND AS A BUYER AT ONE OF TORONTO’S LEADING LUXURY FURNITURE SHOWROOMS.

Emily has built her successful interior design business solely on word of mouth. Her work has been featured in the top design publication in Canada including House&Home, style at home, and the Toronto star style.

Emily lives just outside of Toronto with her husband, 2 children( Elle and oli ), and their newly rescued pups Pippa and cashew.

ECD is located in Toronto Canada and internationally available.

emily’s aesthetic CAN BE DESCRIBED AS MODERN ECLECTIC, a lover of juxtaposed pairings, layered textures, patterns, and highly contrasting elements.  WITH A great APPRECIATION FOR art, CLASSICAL DESIGN, AND ARCHITECTURE.

we design AVANT-GARDE INTERIORS  that are thoughtfully curated and layered using a mix of bespoke furniture, vintage, and collected items. creating unique, SOPHISTICATED, timeless interiors that are luxurious yet livable.

EMILY CADE DESIGN IS DEDICATED TO MAKING EACH PROJECT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BY USING LEED-CERTIFIED PRODUCTS, MATERIALS, AND FINISHES. BY REFURBISHING VINTAGE AND DESIGNING CUSTOM  FURNITURE  LOCALLY WITH RESPONSIBLE MATERIALS,  THE GOAL IS TO MAKE SPACES BEAUTIFUL timeless, and long-lasting.
